Botanical Name: Cyperus papyrus
Common Name: Papyrus
DESCRIPTION
This clump-forming perennial is composed of numerous tall graceful dark green stems, each topped with 50-100 arching and drooping hair-like rays. In summer tiny brown flowers are borne at the tips of the rays. It will grow in very shallow water and prefers a sunny location.
