A truly exceptional perennial landscape plant for providing spikes of flowers in late spring, summer, and sometimes into fall. Pleasantly-shaped, lush, deeply-lobed leaves give rise to crowded spikes of flowers up to three inches across with the largest flowers opening at the bottom and the smallest at the top. The Pacific Giant strain of Delphiniums grows quite tall with beautiful spikes of flowers that are shades of purple, blue, white, and pink. Often thought of as a cottage garden plant, delphiniums could be placed in almost any California landscape.
