A graceful, weeping, fountain-shaped clumping bamboo with wide-spreading foliage. Canes are greenish-purple maturing to deep purplish-black. Non-invasive. Great for hedge or screen, formally pruned or natural. Provide full shade for hot inland areas and light shade to full sun in coastal areas.
