A dramatic and versatile landscape plant with tall, strongly vertical, sword-shaped, bronze-green foliage. It grows to eight feet tall in the best conditions. While it makes a great specimen or accent plant, it can even be used as a screen. Flower spikes may appear in summer once the plants are mature, and they are attractive to hummingbirds.
